A master’s thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah discussed (the torsional behavior of reinforced concrete beams with effective powders). The thesis presented by the student Abdullah Adel Mahdi dealt with the study of the behavior of concrete beams with effective powders. The main variables in this research focus on the effect of hollow thresholds which includes (shape and location and dimensions) of the hollow section and the effect of transverse and longitudinal reinforcement on the maximum torsional torque of the beams laboratory. All square-section beams (200 x 200) mm and the total length is 1000 mm. The thesis aims to collect more data during the experimental tests of the reactive powder concrete beams that were examined under torsion. The thesis concluded that the torsional strength before and after cracking as well as the torsional strength improves in the beams of effective powder concrete when steel fibers and steel reinforcement are present. This study also showed the effect of hollow beams in reducing cracking torque and maximum torque, as well as torsional strength when compared with rigid beams, and reinforcing steel is the same for all solid and hollow reactive powder concrete beams.
