The research presented by student Zainab Muslim Najm aims to know the changes in the level of sodium and potassium in the blood of full-term children who suffer from hypercholesterolemia when receiving photodynamic therapy. The research concluded that there are changes in the level of sodium and potassium in the blood, as there was a drop in the levels of sodium and potassium in the blood after exposure to phototherapy. Therefore, monitoring the levels of salts in the blood, especially sodium and potassium, and observing the symptoms and signs caused by low levels of sodium and potassium and the rest of the salts, such as high heart rate and Cardiac arrhythmia, cerebral convulsions, tremors, and others to avoid exposure to danger and the possibility of changes.
