The Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a training course on how to prepare and work the tissue sections. The course aimed to introduce the methods of preparing tissue samples and making sections of them for the purpose of clearly and easily detecting diseases or damage or identifying differences that occur in the tissue. The course, which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Raghadan Hashem Mohsen and Dr. Arshad Talib Mohsen, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Basra, included an explanation and clarification on the role of tissues in identifying and diagnosing many diseases in addition to their impact on diet. The course also included an explanation of the stages of preparing samples until obtaining Picture of tissue under a microscope. The course recommended adherence to the steps followed during laboratory work to obtain the best results, while making sure to use chemicals and their correct proportions.
