The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized its first international conference on head and neck tumors with the participation of specialists from Arab and foreign countries and in cooperation with the College of Medicine, the College of Pharmacy, Al-Zahra College of Medicine, Alkunooz University, the Basra Health Department and the Iraqi Society for Research and Medical Studies.
The conference included several topics, the most important of which are oncology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, surgery for head and neck tumors, as well as dental implants after surgery, immunological and biological drugs in the treatment of tumors, recent developments in early diagnosis of tumors, modern technology in surgery and oncology, in addition to manual workshops.
The conference aims to provide a forum for academics, scientists, specialists and researchers to present the result of their research in this field and to create a suitable environment for presenting their scientific work and exchanging experiences among them, improving the clinical scientific practice of specialists, and providing a space for international companies to participate in presenting the latest scientific and clinical developments in the fields of diagnosis and treatment.
