Board research at the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, discussed the effect of remdesivir treatment for patients infected with the emerging corona virus 19, who are sleeping in the epidemiological halls of Basrah Governorate. The research presented by the student Haider Abd Aoun Allawi aims to measure the effectiveness of remdesivir used for patients sleeping in the epidemiological wards in Basrah governorate, and its impact on the health status of the patient whether it was used late or too early to contract the disease. The research concluded the effectiveness of remdesivir, In the treatment of moderate to severe cases of emerging coronavirus disease, and the extent of its effective effect if used in infecting the disease and reducing the severity of infection and the period of stay in the hospital and infection with the cytokine storm. The research also found that remdesivir is an effective substance if used at the beginning of the infection. For the disease, as the results showed an increase in recovery cases for patients who received treatment, as well as a lack of development of severe cases of severe infection of the patients themselves and a decrease in their infection with the cytokine storm.
