College of Engineering at the University of Basrah holds the annual conference for graduation projects
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Ramzy Salim Ali, and under the slogan (graduation projects in the service of Iraq), the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held a graduation projects conference. The conference began with the the Holy Quran and the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs. Then the conference sessions began, which dealt with a presentation of 13 distinguished researches that were discussed in various engineering disciplines and the students presented their scientific products before the jury composed of a number of teachers in the specialty in all departments of the College of Engineering in order to choose the best three distinctive projects.
The aim of the conference is to see the outputs of the graduation projects to highlight the creativity and talents of distinguished students and to put their research on the implementation table to benefit from it in developing and activating projects to build Iraq
And the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Maath Mohammad said that this conference was held in line with the college's orientation aimed at raising the skill of the engineer and paying attention to the scientific level of students and preparing administrative and leadership personalities capable of serving the community, discussion and scientific dialogue and creating a spirit of positive and constructive competition among students
At the conclusion of the conference, the projects were honored and prizes were distributed to them.
