A scientific study was conducted at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah, by Dr. Muhammad Hassan Khuder, in cooperation with a research team from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Mosul, within Clarivate containers, under the title (A new method for preparing a live attenuated vaccine from the local isolation of MRSA and studying its effect on the immune response in rats).
The study included preparing a live attenuated vaccine from the local isolate of MRSA in a new way to control bovine mastitis, confirming the isolate used by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test and preparing the live attenuated vaccine from it in a new way.
The results of the study, with the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and the real-time polymerase chain reaction test, concluded that the experimental vaccine prepared locally in this way achieved clear and tangible results in clearly stimulating humoral and cellular immunity, and this method is considered one of the new methods in the production of live attenuated vaccine.
