The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (the resistance to the Antibiotics and bacteriophage therapy) by the graduate student Muna Jabbar Tuama. The study aims to find alternative ways to treat antibiotics resistance bacteria (MDR). The study included the definition of antibiotics, mechanisms of action , and bacterial resistance to them, and the latest statistics on the number of infected people and death rates because of MDR , the study also include the use of bacteriophages as an alternative treatment for antibiotics resistance bacteria MDR.
