The President of Basrah University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and his accompanying delegation discussed joint cooperation with the President of JEBA University in Japan in the areas of new technology and practical applications of scientific and research products. The delegation, accompanied by the Iraqi Ambassador, Abdul Karim Al Kaabi, toured the university to see the teaching situation and specialized laboratories.
During the meeting, the President of Basrah University stated that our university won the gold and silver medal out of eight medals during the awards ceremony of the Asia Universities Summit in Japan, as one of the eight best universities out of 600 universities in Asia through two projects, the first being team management, and the second being innovation and excellence in the field of art for this year 2022.
For his part, the President of JEBA University praised the great achievement made by the University of Basrah by obtaining advanced ranks in international rankings and competing with Asian universities, wishing them to reach the top in the coming years.
