The Cultural Center at Basrah University launched the first activities of the second annual university culture forum in cooperation with the College of Agriculture and the Injaz Organization for Human Development.
The forum included a presentation of two films produced by the center, the introductory film for the center and the short film (Red in bold) by the talented student Duaa Al-Halfi and the opening of a comprehensive book exhibition and an art exhibition that depicted the pictures of the professors of the College of Agriculture entitled (Pencil) by the talented deaf artist Anwar Abdel Razzaq.
The Director of the Cultural Center, Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud Odeh, said, "The second annual forum for university culture represents the real tributary to support culture in the academic community and the official sponsor of students' talents and innovations in the scientific, literary and cultural fields. Over the remaining days of the forum, we will transfer the experience to different places in the university, as well as Al-Farahidi Street in the city center to prove the presence of the university in all societal and cultural places”.
