The Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies at the Basrah and Arabian Gulf Studies Center at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion on (stress sounds in the books of modernists, a comparative study).
The panel discussion, in which Dr. Jassem Ghali Al-Maliki lectured, aimed to shed light on the similarities and differences between the ancients and the moderns in naming the stress sounds.
The panel discussion presented the most important linguistic phenomena of stress sounds.
