The Physiology Department of the College of Medicine, University of Basrah, under the auspices of the respected President of Basrah University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Murtadha Muhammad Salih Al-Musafir, held a workshop on the use of EndeNote program in organizing and managing scientific resources. The workshop aims to introduce the Endnote program, which is one of the famous and useful programs in reference management. Where any researcher can work on any research that includes many sources. One of the useful features of the program is the ease of creating new references and using them in different files. And automatic creation of a list of references at the end of the Word file, creating groups and more than one library of references, classifying them, giving them keywords and others, in addition to using groups to divide references for easy reference. Where the workshop explained the way to create groups in the Endnote program so that books, scientific papers, and others can be divided into groups that facilitate the researcher to refer to them. For example, references can be divided by specialization, in addition to changing the display formats for the reference list. It also showed how to activate and disable some reference list formats.
