The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Agriculture, organized the expanded student cultural competition, Knowledge Bridge, in the Planetarium Hall in the Bab Al-Zubair Colleges Complex, with the participation of eight teams, including the colleges of law, fine arts, arts, agriculture, administration and economics, and nursing, as well as the graduates team and people of determination team.
The competition took place between colleges and teams within a specific mechanism. Each team chooses the questions that are placed in a glass bowl, so that the three-member committee asks the question, put the grades, and sorts the winning teams. The committee was formed by Prof. Dr. Karim Muhammad Khalaf from the University of Maysan, College of Basic Education, and the membership of each of the researcher, Etidal Abdul-Baqi Yusef from the College of Law at the University of Basrah and researcher Badr Al-Mayahi, head of the Iraqi Journalists Union, Basra branch.
The competition included asking 140 general cultural questions that included three rounds. The College of Law team won the first prize, followed by the People of Determination team in the second place, while the College of Arts team won the third place.
