The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah hosted the Sixth Central Student Scientific Conference to discuss the graduation research for fifth-stage students for the academic year 2021-2022.
The conference aims at raising the level of scientific research and activating joint cooperation between colleges, as well as investing research in the service of society in the scientific and economic fields.
The conference included the discussion of (14) applied and academic scientific research for students of the fifth stage by professors in the faculties of veterinary medicine in all Iraqi universities.
After discussing the research, the names of the students whose research won the first place were announced, as the first place was obtained by the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah for a research by students Abdullah Basil and Fatima Ghaith under the supervision of Dr. Basem Kadhim Khajouri. Whereas the second place was for Baghdad, shared equally with Al-Qasim Al-Khadra, and the third place was for Tikrit University.
