Dr. Sarmad Yassin, the instructor at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah, participated in the Iraqi Cinema Festival, on the 67th anniversary of its founding.
His participation included the movie (A Day with no Shadows), directed by him and represented by a group of young actors.
Yassin indicated that this festival is held annually with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities (Department of Cinema and Theater) for the period from 22nd to 24th of June at the National Theater Hall in Baghdad to display the new productions of Iraqi cinema from various Iraqi governorates.
