The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah organized an online workshop on the theory of multiple intelligences and modern emerging teaching strategies.
The workshop aimed to develop faculty members in teaching methods to enlighten the trainees with the theory of multiple intelligences, to distinguish the types of intelligence and their various activities, and to introduce them to the most important strategies that emerged from each type of intelligence.
The workshop presented by Dr. Saad Ali Zayer included a definition of the theory of multiple intelligences, its origins and founder, and a statement of the types of multiple intelligences, including: linguistic (verbal) intelligence: strategies, activities, and logical (mathematical) intelligence, strategies, activities, and spatio-visual intelligence, strategies, activities, and Kinetic (physical) intelligence, strategies, activities, and musical (rhythmic) intelligence, strategies, activities, and social (interpersonal), and strategies, activities, and intrinsic intelligence.
