On Monday morning, 27 June 2022, in the department of Information and Knowledge technologies at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah a master thesis entitled ( Management of information security systems and its applications at Dhi Qar University and its affiliated colleges and centers : a survey study)
The thesis presented by the student Haider Jawad Kazem included four chapters. The first chapter dealt with the general framework of the study ,the second chapter included the theoretical study (information systems and information security),the third chapter discussed the field study ,and the fourth chapter discussed the results and conclusions.
The thesis aims to identify the reality of the security of Information Systems in the Departments of the University of Dhi Qar, colleges and affiliated centers and to verify the effectiveness of information security methods adopted by those departments and colleges .
The thesis concluded:
1-with the different scientific qualifications of the individuals of the study sample, but the largest percentage was from the holders of the initial university degree.
2-85% of the study sample members believe that the percentage of the budget allocated to information security at Dhi Qar University and its affiliated colleges and centers from the total budget is insufficient to meet the needs of the information systems departments at the university .
