The thesis presented by the student Ali Qassem Khalaf dealt with building capacity management strategies for small networks that operate Independently using self-control with precision in sharing power between existing resources. Three structural installations for power management were presented in this thesis. In the first installation, the solar cells were connected to the electrical grid and were controlled as a source of voltage.
Solar cells and storage sources were also used in the second and third installation.
The thesis aims at coordinating control based on distribution systems for isolated small networks.
The thesis concluded the use of the secondary control layer in the strategy of improving the participation of interactive power in small independent networks. The connections in this technology are used to enhance the adjustment of the voltage coming out of the inverter. The controllers will work with the (INVERTER) descent control in the event of a failure of the communication channel.
