A delegation from the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Law met with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan, at the council's headquarters in Baghdad.
The delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Miri Al-Khikani, Chairman of the Deans' Committee of Colleges of Law. The delegation included the Dean of the College of Law at Basrah University, Prof. Aqil Al-Dahan.
The delegation discussed a number of issues related to law colleges and their outputs, training students, the practical aspect, supervising judges' research and cooperation between the two parties in the field of holding conferences and legal workshops, as well as activating advisory offices in the colleges and the obstacles to that.
The delegation thanked the Supreme Judicial Council for its cooperation in the subject of the virtual court. It was agreed to continue communication between the two parties in the service of the rule of law and the dissemination of legal culture in society.
