The college of science in the department of mathematics discussed a master's thesis entitled Advanced Optimization Methods for Scheduling Problems in Permutation Flow Shop for postgraduate Azhar Yaseen Abdlhussein.the aim of this thesis is adapting and improving the Particle Swarm Optimization method (PSO) and the Ant Colony Optimization method (ACO) with the NEH and N-NEH+ heuristics, and the Iterated Local Search algorithm (ILS) to minimize the makespan of the PFSP.
