The lecturer in the Department of Ecology in the College of Science at the University of Basra, Dr. Nayef Mohsen Aziz, participated in the discussion of the doctoral thesis of student Ahmed Jarry Shabib, which was organized by the Soil Department of the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra. The thesis dealt with the efficiency of some microorganisms in treating soils contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons.
