The Continuing Education Unit organized a workshop on (urban planning and its impact on facing crime) with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The workshop included a lecture presented by Dr. Raad Yassin Muhammad Al-Hassan
During which he presented a study as an attempt to assess the relationship between the urban environment and crime to fill the gap in studies in this aspect
The workshop discussed four main axes, most notably the concept of crime and its definitions, the concept of urban environment and planning standards to reduce the phenomenon of crime.
The aim of the workshop is to reach an urban environment free of crime according to sound urban planning
