The University of Basra ranked first among Iraqi universities in the Umultiranking classification and fourth at the level of Arab universities, as well as ranked 47th in Asia. The competition in this classification was between 2068 universities around the world, and the first participation of the University of Basra was ranked 348 globally and 47 Asians, and the closest competitor to it from Iraqi universities is the Northern Technical University, ranked 570. The U-Multirank rating is a European rating system whose primary objective is to provide transparency about the diversity of higher education institutions in comparison with other global rankings. Five dimensions are teaching, learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement. It combines institutional ratings, comparison of entire institutions, and field ratings. |
