The study aimed: building a training program based on blended education for the teachers of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic education in the preparatory stage, and identifying the impact of the training program in developing the teaching competencies of the teachers of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic education in the preparatory stage.
The study population was represented by the teachers of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic education in the preparatory stage of the second Baghdad Directorate of Education, Karkh, and the study sample consisted of (32) trainees who were distributed into two equal and equal groups. (The t-test for two independent samples, the t-test for two correlated samples, the Cooper equation, the arithmetic mean, the Pearson correlation coefficient, the Spearman correlation coefficient, the equations for calculating the difficulty coefficient and the discriminatory power of the test items, and the eta square test (n)2), and the equation for calculating the fair gain for Black) The researcher reached a set of results, the most important of which is the statement of the impact of the independent variable (the training program) and in a very large percentage on the development of the dependent variable (teaching competencies) in the performance and theoretical sides of the trainees, and in light of it, the researcher concluded that the training program had a significant impact on the development of the teaching competencies of my teachers. In light of the achieved results, the researcher recommended the following:
Adopting the proposed training program, within the programs and training courses for male and female teachers of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic education during their service, in order to prove its impact on the development of their teaching competencies.
The necessity of including the teaching competencies in the theoretical and performance aspects of the academic programs in the departments of Holy Quran Sciences and Islamic Education in the Colleges of Education, in order to contribute to the good preparation of student teachers before service.
Conducting integrated curriculum and programs based on teaching competencies to prepare student teachers in educational faculties and before service.
To complement the current research, the researcher suggested the following:
Conducting studies similar to the current study applied to all male and female teachers of different grades and while in service.
The effectiveness of a training program based on blended education in developing the professional competence of secondary school teachers.
Building an educational unit based on blended learning and its impact on developing teaching skills for students applying in the faculties of education for human sciences.
