Our conference was not only about activating the theoretical and practical aspects of the students, but also urging them on the scientific research even after graduation and creating a spirit of scientific competition among them in a way that develops their research capabilities and demonstrates their skills through presentation and discussion, as well as the achievement of the joint cooperation between the academic teachers from all scientific departments, and the interaction of students with their supervisors was very clear, and the conference allowed an opportunity for the academic teachers to see the scientific research of other supervisors. The scientific committee and the discussion committees stressed the need to adopt a solid approach in scientific research that advances the field of advanced knowledge of the dental profession.
After the conference conclusion, the first three graduation research papers were handpicked by the scientific committee of the conference relying on the grades provided by the discussion committees.

Therefore, our scientific conference under the mantra (through scientific research, nations thrive) gives the following recommendations:-
1-Setting beginning of the month of May of each year a date to discuss the students' graduation research papers and setting the days of the conference according to the number of the provided research papers and to be discussed on one academic hall and under the supervision of the Scientific Committee to ensure transparency of the research so that everyone gets acquainted with the ideas presented in the conference.
2-Research projects are announced to students at the end of September of each year so that students can start working on research from the beginning of the year.
3-Urging the academic teachers to adopt research projects that deal with problems related to oral and dental diseases, in cooperation with all specializations and be open to the rest of the colleges in the university, and to approach the Basra Health Department to find out the most problems related to oral and dental health that need scientific research to cooperate in finding solutions to them.
4-Preparing a book that includes the instructions for writing the research and the requirements for authorization from the ethical committee for scientific research, in addition to filling out the consent form for patients or volunteers, as well as the method of the followed work if the research is for laboratory animals.
5-Preparing a form for evaluating students' research that includes all the research details, as is universally followed by the Scientific Committee.
● Based on what is mentioned above, and after our scientific conference ended its sessions, and based on the multiple observations and proposals submitted by researchers and participants, the conference recommends following up on the recommendations to ensure the benefit from the efforts made at the level of application, and at the level of follow-up in our upcoming scientific conferences, God willing.
