The Palm Research Center at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion on the Dutch Program for the Development of Agriculture in Iraq (IHD).
The panel discussion, which was presented by the instructor, Wafaa Hasaj Al-Mayahi, aimed to introduce the feasibility of implementing the Dutch program (IHD), which is supervised by the International Organization (ECO) sponsored by the Dutch Consulate.
The panel discussion included ways to develop agriculture and how to manage greenhouses in Iraq in a way that is compatible with the current Iraqi climate and environment.
Al-Mayahi explained the requirements for producing agricultural crops, including heating and ventilation systems, dehumidification and pest resistance that threatens greenhouses.
