
The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah organized a personal exhibition by the plastic artist Mahdi Al-Halfi entitled (Forgotten graphics).
The exhibition included (36) artworks whose works embodied Iraqi life within the Impressionist Art School. The exhibition also summarized the artist's experiences since the beginning of his artistic career during his academic studies, addressing several topics, including nature and social issues.
The exhibition was distinguished by the use of engraving techniques on various surfaces, re-printing its traces with interactions with their surfaces on paper with printing ink, and reproducing their counterparts in color again.
