This thesis aims to identify the effect of acrylamide on the histological structure of the pituitary and thyroid glands, a biochemical study to identify hormonal disorders, and a cellular study to identify chromosomal abnormalities.
The study concluded that acrylamide affects the body weight and the weight of the organs (pituitary and thyroid) and causes tissue changes in both the pituitary and thyroid glands, and malfunctions in the functions of the thyroid gland and some hormones.
