A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah discussed (the impact of urban growth on domestic water production in the city of Al-Zubair and its future needs).
The thesis of the researcher Hussain Ali Abed dealt with a study of the status of domestic water services in the city of Al-Zubair and the stages of development of this service up to the year of the study (2021), and the detection of the production capacity of water purification complexes and its comparison with the amount of consumption.
The tthesis included a study of four chapters, the first chapter was a study of the historical development of domestic water services and demographic characteristics in the city, the second chapter dealt with the system of water stations and their spatial distribution, and the third chapter dealt with the characteristics of domestic water and its problems, and the fourth chapter dealt with the efficiency of domestic water as well as an estimated current and future water needs.
