The message presented by the student, Mustafa Yahya Hassan, included the design of a hybrid climbing robot that was implemented and practically examined. The movement of the robot while climbing on the wall is inspired by the behavior of the movement of the gecko, which uses four limbs, while the grip device used to hang on the wall depends on the mechanism that the cat uses to climb on trees Using its claws for this reason, the robot is called a hybrid. The robot has four arms arranged symmetrically around the body
The message aims to produce climbing robots that can climb on vertical surfaces, rocks and walls, where they can be used in dangerous places that are difficult for humans to reach.
The thesis concluded simulations of the proposed design, which proved the success of the design in terms of the robot's ability to cling and climb on rough surfaces such as trees, stone walls or mountainous terrain.
The second section is practical experiments, where it has practically proven the robot's ability to cling to rough walls, in addition to its high efficiency in climbing iron grating walls. These experiments are of great benefit in civil and military applications.
