I discussed a master’s thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah (Design and Analysis of Integrated Rectina Circuits for Wireless Power Transmission)
The message presented by the student Ahmed Abdul-Kazim Salih included the design and analysis of these rctina circuits using the CST and ADS programs. The working frequencies were chosen to be within the WiFi and GSM packages due to their availability and use in many communications applications and internet networks. .2.4. As for the second design, it represented a dual-beam printed circuit working at frequencies 900MHz and 2.4GHz, where the receiving antenna was in the form of a zigzag line with two arms.
The third design represents a bipolar rectina circuit operating at a frequency of .2.4 GHz
The message aims to invest energy in mobile phone networks by investing the radiation sent by broadcasting stations for the purpose of charging the mobile phone, which contributes to reducing environmental pollution resulting from mobile phone networks in addition to other benefits
The thesis concluded to develop three different designs of rectina circuits (rectifier circuit + antenna) to harvest the energy of electromagnetic waves and convert it into a continuous current for use in several applications.
