Development of static analysis, free vibrations and forced vibrations of the suspended offshore pipeline during its laying, taking into account the effect of water depths, pipeline diameters, wave head direction and sea condition without ship movement
The purpose of the thesis is the method of laying the pipelines considered in this study is J-lay. Nonlinear stress analysis is used in the analysis of the model that includes geometric nonlinearity and marginal nonlinearity. The analysis of change with time is considered.
A static analysis is also performed to obtain the stress of marine pipelines to keep it within the permissible design limits for different values of water depths and pipeline diameters.
The thesis concluded that the effect of the direction of the head of the wave on the dynamic bending moment of the pipeline is clear at a depth of 2 m below the surface of the water, then gradually decreases until it disappears at a depth of 100 m, while the effect of the height of the wave is clear at a depth of 2 m and then gradually decreases until it disappears at a depth of 120 m.
