The advisory office resides at the College of Engineering at Basrah University, in cooperation with the Basrah Water Directorate and sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The specialized course "Operation and maintenance requirements for water treatment and desalination plants" for the period from 17/2 to 7/3/2019. The course will start on Sunday 17-2-2019 at nine in the morning.
The opening lecture will be delivered by Dr. Muhammad Al-Awwad, Consultant Internal Medicine. The course will be attended by cadres working in the Basra Water Directorate, and technical cadres will be trained and developed in the field of operating and managing water projects in the province. Doctors specialized in the field of public health and society within Basrah governorate will also participate in the course to shed light on the impact of water and its quality on the health and safety of users. This course comes within the framework of a series of scientific activities adopted by the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah in the service of society
