The College of Engineering, University of Basrah, held a workshop entitled (Software for resource management). The workshop dealt with a definition of the importance of using software in resource management and an explanation of the types of programs used, an explanation of how to install the Mandali program on the calculator and use it online, editing the sources manually in the Mandali program, collecting resources from different media And include them in the Mandali program, add the Mandali program to Word, include the sources in research or dissertations and edit them using the Mandali program
Dr. Uday Al-Mayahi indicated that the goal of setting up the workshop is to use resource management software in writing scientific research and dissertations. He stated that this software enables researchers to enter the sources in a professional and easy way, which saves a lot of effort and time and follows the sources’ models according to the standards of sober international journals in Thomson Reuters and Scopus as well. It works to reduce the percentage of errors that may occur in the process of entering sources manually, in addition to creating a database of private sources for each researcher to be able to archive and use them online and desktop.
