The thesis dealt with the study of the structural behavior of reinforced concrete T-beams poured using self-compacting concrete containing reconstituted concrete as coarse aggregate. The examined models were analyzed in a non-linear three-dimensional manner using the finite element method by ANSYS program, and then the comparison between the experimental and analytical results.
In the practical part, thirty-three self-compacting concrete beams were cast and checked. The beams are divided into two groups depending on the type of failure. The first group consists of six self-compacting concrete beams containing recycled concrete aggregate fail to bend, which consists of two subgroups depending on (P1, P2).
The second group includes 27 beams of self-compacting concrete containing aggregates of recycled concrete that fail to cut, and it was divided into three ratios (1,2,3), each subgroup consisting of nine beams of self-compacting concrete in the shape of the letter T.
The laboratory results showed that when the percentage of replacement of returned concrete aggregate is increased to 50%, the rate of cracking decreases by 15.5% and the maximum load also decreases. With an increase in the percentage of returned concrete aggregate to 75%, the rate of cracking and the maximum load decreases by 31% and 9.4%, respectively.
