The German Academy for Media honored the Director of the Quality Assurance and Job Performance Assessment Division, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Zahra Mohamed, at the Faculty of Fine Arts, today, the sixth of January, for his participation in a training course on “Monitoring and Verification of Media Content” with the participation of fifteen participants from different Governmental and civil institutions established in Basra Governorate.
The course included theoretical and practical training in various important topics, including the basics and rules of verification and its importance in media institutions, as well as the importance of social media platforms and mechanisms for verification and detection of the authenticity of images, videos and digital content that are published on social media sites using specific applications and programs and how to sort and verify information through the source.
