A teacher at the College of Engineering participates in a research in the Scientific Engineering Conference in Baghdad
The teaching researcher, Dr. Al-Waleed Khaled Al-Baaj in engineering at the University of Basra participated in a research in the fourth and first scientific engineering conference in sustainable engineering - Al-Mustansiriya College of Engineering for the period from 28-29 March 2018, and the research was tagged with (the impact of urban sustainability standards on designing the residential environment of the Iraqi city)
Al-Baaj stated: The research dealt with an assessment of the state of Iraqi cities and knowing to what extent our cities and residential neighborhoods stand for the elements of sustainability by testing them according to international standards for the design of residential neighborhoods and thus coming up with indicators to reach sustainable environmentally friendly cities at the level of neighborhoods and the residential environment
Dr. Al-Waleed Khaled Al-Baaj also received a letter of thanks and appreciation from Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Anbari, Dean of the College of Engineering / Al-Mustansiriya University.
