Under the supervision of the assistant dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Reda al-Tamimi, the quality assurance and academic accreditation division at the College of Arts, University of Basrah, held a meeting on Thursday, 18/8/2022, under the management of the director of the quality division, assistant professor Dr. Najat Abdul Karim Abdul Sada and the membership of each of the presidents of scientific departments: Translation department, English department, library and Information Technology Department, philosophy department, history department, and quality division staff at the college:Mr. Ali Shawki Abdul Wahed and Mrs. Alaa Salem Hassan.
The meeting included discussing the requirements of the National Classification for the academic year 2021-2022 and the readiness of the scientific departments in the college to complete the classification files and provide the website with the classification files. The most important of them is the self-report, the description of the academic program, the improvement and Achievement Plan, the biography of the instructors, the published scientific research, and the standards conformity report, in addition to some important things to achieve the highest quality standards in performance in various work joints, where the discussion was held between the presidents of departments and the quality team to ensure the progress of work and put forward proposals in this regard. It was emphasized to complete the work on time.
