The lecturer in the history department, Assistant Professor Dr. Nidal Muhammad Qanbar, participated in the issuance of a book on the Corona pandemic entitled: Academic visions about the Corona pandemic covid-19
The book aims to contribute to the awareness campaign carried out by Basra University against the effects of the Corona pandemic, and the book included many scientific insights in this field.
Dr. Nidal Mohamed said that she was a participant entitled (Corona epidemic and its impact on the global economy), where we dealt with (the relationship of the economic factor with diseases and epidemics, according to historical evidence, the association of disease with groups and poverty ,,,, the study focused on the mobilization of world countries and international organizations, especially the economic ones, to reduce the economic crises resulting from Disruption of economic establishments and the labor market due to the epidemic crisis ... The study also suggested a number of solutions and proposals ... The study relied on historical sources and part of WHO reports supported by digital data about the epidemic and its various effects)
The book is a series of publications by the Center for Arab Gulf Studies / University of Basra.
