The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Basra, organized a workshop on: (Integrating thinking skills in teaching) with the participation of researchers and specialists from our University and Tikrit University, and the workshop included a lecture presented by (Prof. Dr. Integrating thinking, trends and its importance in teaching, and applying steps to integrate thinking skills in teaching The workshop discussed (how to use the directions and approaches to teaching thinking in teaching, including the additional approach that studies thinking independently from other subjects, the inclusion approach and it integrates thinking skills into the curriculum, and the approach to education for thinking by creating an environment that stimulates thinking)
The workshop showed (the topic of teaching thinking and its skills in raising the learner's motivation towards study, teaching the academic content in a deeper way to learners, helping teachers achieve the goals of their lessons with high efficiency, and also helping teachers to apply modern learning strategies that develop students ’thinking)
