The College of Education for Human Sciences organizes a workshop on (The Image of Hope in the Holy Quran)
Organized the Continuing Education Unit in the College of Education for the Humanities. Basra University has a workshop on (The Image of Hope in the Holy Qur’an) with the participation of researchers and specialists. The workshop included a lecture given by Dr. Mortada Abbas Faleh, in which he addressed “Hope and its definition in language and idiomatically, as well as dealing with Qur’anic references to blameworthy hope, and hope that human beings do not exist, which is despair. The main theme of the image of hope in the Holy Qur’an was dealt with, which is the hope that has objectivity, reasonableness, and moderation, which makes it an emitter of positive energy and an encouragement to guide it to a safe and secure life
The workshop discussed ... (that hope is present in the Holy Qur’an in its moral forms and in its suggestive signs, which were represented in indicating that when a person is alerted and warns of punishment and its causes, this is a positive image that encourages a person not to be among those who deserve punishment, but from those who do good even Reward is achieved for him, in addition to the reference to the presence of images of hope in Surat Yusuf, Al-Kahf, Maryam, repentance, monotheism, Al-Kawthar and others, which encourages a person to follow and follow through with the Qur’an’s teachings and instructions in these suras and others, which makes him always full of positive hope
The workshop aims to identify the topics of the Holy Qur’an and benefit from them in our daily life and in its various forms, times and times, especially as we live today in difficult circumstances that the whole of humanity is going through. Through the Qur’an, the educational academic institution thus contributes to solving problems and spreading the spirit of life in society)
