PhD thesis at Basrah University to be discussed in sciences college biology department
Ph. D thesis at the University of Basrah( Vulnerability of viral infections in end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients and it's correlation with the immune status ) and showed the researcher's thesis (Noor Jabbar Mohammed).The study three stages include first molecular detection for the viruses Epstein Barr virus, BK virus and Human Cytomegalovirus , second stage ,serological diagnosis for anti HCMV IgG , IgM antibodies and IgG Avidity , third the Thesis aims to evaluation of the immune status in the studied groups and their ability to infected with these viruses that affect the disease and concluded that the prophylactic treatments and their positive role in reduce the viral infections that used from basrah centre for kidney diseases and trasplantation and associated with the evaluation of immune status using markers for flow cytometry to T, B , NK and Costimulatory moulecule CD3+, CD4+,CD8+,CD19+, CD16+ ,CD80+ CD28+ and total serum Ige G and IgM using recent generation of medical diagnostic full automated machines appeared low IgG and IgM in haemodialysis patients compared with control and study commended more studies on this immunesuppressed patients .
