
A master's thesis, titled (studying the effect of vitamin D on uric acid levels in a rat model with potassium axonate-induced hyperuricemia), was discussed at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah.
The study aims to investigate the relationship between high levels of vitamin D and uric acid levels in a model of rats with hyperuricemia caused by potassium axonate injection.
The study concluded that uric acid levels in the blood are positively correlated with vitamin D levels.
