The Information Technology Unit in the College of Dentistry University of Basrah held a workshop for fourth and fifth year students on how to use the educational clinics' program with both theoretical and practical aspects.
In the theoretical part, which was delivered by Mr. Najem Abdul Wadood Aljazairy, Director of the Information Technology Unit and the (program developer), as he explained an introduction to the program, why it was developed and its importance in providing the academic researchers with important statistics which are used in scientific researches due to the variety of the cases provided by the educational clinics of the college.
Aljazairy added that the program was developed in 2016 and was tuned and tweaked five times to reach its current state at the moment.
And in the practical part, which was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Almomen, as he explained how work the input of the patient's data (case sheets), how to fill the data that was inputted on the form of lists and singular and diverse options to reduce inputting the data and to avoid grammatical mistakes or inputting data in improper places.
In the end, the students' questions were received and answered by the lecturers.
