The instructor at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah, Dr. Hassan Muhammad Jassim, was chosen as a scientific assessor in the Microbiology Spectrum Journal.
Dr. Hassan Mohamed said that the journal is concerned with publishing research related to molecular and clinical sciences in microbiology. It is considered one of the solid scientific journals Q1 and has a high impact factor (7.7) and is issued by the American Society for Microbiology.
