A research team composed of the teaching staff, Samira Abdel-Zahra Daaj from the College of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with researchers from the Shahid Chamran University in Iran, published a paper titled (The protective effect of chrysten on rats exposed to crude oil vapor) in the Journal of Reproductive Toxicology within Scopus containers.
The aim of the research was to identify the effect of crude oil vapor on the male reproductive system in Wister rats, and then to identify the effectiveness of one of the antioxidants, which is christine.
The research concluded the extent of the protective effect of quercetin in maintaining the spermatic tubes, sperms and cell death by preventing the occurrence of oxidative stress in the male reproductive system.
