Under the direct guidance of the President of Basrah University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the university contributed to transporting the visitors of the Arba’een of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, from the Shalamcheh port to the unified garage, and the delivery of drinking water to the processions stationed at the port on the border with the Islamic Republic of Iran, in addition to logistical support.
This initiative expresses the keenness of the University of Basrah and its pioneering role in serving society in its various sects and beliefs without discrimination at all levels, and dedicating academic and scientific expertise to put it in the field for a promising and bright future for future generations.
