The Educational Guidance and Psychological Care Center at the University of Basrah continues to launch its educational and guidance volunteer campaign for the Arba’een visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, through its volunteer teams, which include the center’s staff, including male and female teachers, as well as male and female faculty members from the colleges who joined the campaign.
Regarding the locations and activities of the work teams, the director of the center, Dr. Hana Sadiq Al-Badran, said, “The campaign previously targeted visitors walking along the road between Basra and Holy Karbala, and today the teams’ efforts have been intensified at the Shalamcheh border crossing to receive arrivals from the Islamic Republic of Iran and provide moral, psychological and counseling support. In addition to providing food and drinks to them, the crossing is now concerned with the arrival of thousands of visitors.
