
A master's thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah examined the geomorphological characteristics of the Wadi al-Athir Basin in southern Iraq.
The thesis of the researcher, Muhammad Adnan Abdel-Zahra, dealt with the study of the geomorphological characteristics of the Wadi Al-Athir Basin and the extent of the impact of these characteristics on the construction of landforms and the geomorphological processes that contributed to its establishment.
The study concluded that the waterways of the Wadi Al-Ather basin run from the southwest side within the boundaries of Saudi lands towards the northeast, which ends in the alluvial plain lands inside Iraqi lands.
