The instructor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Dr. Miqdad Al-Hajjaj, published a paper entitled (Evaluation of the skin-permeability-enhancing capabilities of newly developed, water-soluble and self-assembled liquid crystal formulations based on hexosomes) in the Swiss Crystal Journal with an impact factor of 2.67 and within Scopus containers.
The research included the development of a dermal ointment containing liquid crystals consisting of (polyethylene glycol), which contains the drug (para amino benzoic acid). The study also included preparation and evaluation outside the body of pharmaceutical preparations for their various physical and chemical properties.
The aim of the research is to study the ability to increase the permeability of the drug used by the use of liquid crystals.
